Stock Maker ID -- Pre 64 Model 70

I just acquired this Pre 64 30-06, metal all seems factory, but the stock is a pretty nice custom unit. Any insight from the group on who may have made and/or checkered it? The inlet work looks largely hand done, not machined, Barreled action dates to 1945-46.
