My next project is a 375 HH on a CZ 550 Magnum action, can anyone suggest a barrel contour and length, twist rate? I’ve been using McGowan barrels and adding NECG sights, but would like a quarter rib if possible, but maybe outside my skill/tooling set.
This is my first dangerous game rifle.
Any advice would be appreciated.

No replies…oh well…
I ended up on the phone with McGowan and settled on a #3 contour McGowan and 25” length. We calculated that a #3 would be above 0.130” wall thickness which is above the minimum allowable; 1:12 twist.
