Can anyone confirm that a standard military Mauser 98 action uses 1/4”-22 action screws?

They are 1/4-22 Whitworth. FWIW, Forster makes standard length replacements that Brownell’s and Midway sell. Myers arms makes standard and long replacements. I haven’t used the Myers. If you use them please let us know what you think of them.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve been using Sunny Hill bottom metal, and the screws are not quite threading into my M98 actions. NECG screws fit, but I will look into the other two.
